Siteman Expansion

Siteman Cancer Center is committed to transforming patient care in the communities it serves. Through new institutional affiliations and satellite locations, Siteman is expanding its reach to make exceptional cancer care more accessible and convenient for patients.

Recently, Siteman Cancer Center and Washington University School of Medicine launched the Siteman Cancer Network, an affiliation with regional medical centers that is aimed at improving the health of individuals and communities through cancer research, treatment and prevention. Boone Hospital Center, one of Missouri’s top hospitals and part of BJC HealthCare is the first affiliate in the network and will work with Siteman to provide patients in mid-Missouri with access to highly specialized treatments and technologies, including clinical trials.

Siteman Cancer Center has also joined forces with St. Louis Children’s Hospital to establish a comprehensive pediatric oncology program, Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The partnership is focused on caring for children and adolescents with cancer, using the latest, most-effective treatments, in a setting geared to younger patients and their families.

To expand its services to north St. Louis County, Siteman is opening another satellite location at Christian Hospital. The North County location is in addition to three other satellite locations in South County, West County and St. Charles County, with the main campus at Washington University Medical Campus. The location at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Charles County has also been under construction to expand its cancer care facility, adding more than 11,000 square feet to the existing 19,500-square-foot facility. Completion is scheduled for 2017.
