In 2016, more than $3.3 million was raised at Pedal the Cause. 100 percent of the record-breaking funds raised at this annual cycling event go towards innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. This year’s Pedal the Cause is scheduled for September 23 and 24, 2017.

The 2016 Illumination Gala also raised a record-breaking amount of $3 million. The annual gala benefits Siteman Cancer Center through the Foundation’s Cancer Frontier Fund, established to speed cancer research breakthroughs. The 2017 Illumination Gala is planned for June 3rd.

Through these two events alone, over $6 million were raised to fund cancer research and advance care for patients with an array of cancer diagnoses, including leukemia.
